-September 14, 2010- North Gem FFA News:

   The chapter’s horse judging team did very well at the Eastern Idaho State Fair. The team was comprised of Sierra Glade, Jean Maxwell, LynDee Simons, Clay Crandall, and Caleb Williams. The team was placed fourth over all and second in our district. Sierra Glade was ranked number one overall and in our district in that event.

   North Gem’s livestock team consisted of Caston Holbrook, Garrett Hatch, McKayla Mclain, Weston Thompson, and Justin Williams. This team placed twenty-third overall. Mr. Wells, North Gem Chapter Advisor, was a card marker for the livestock judging. The dairy judging team included Dalen Barfuss, Cache Davids, Riley Askew, Gage Green, and Leland Priestly. The dairy judging team for North Gem placed eighteenth overall.
